Mr. Eddie Sam Chan, Barrister-at-Law, was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 2005 and has been practicing since then.  Before that he worked for various government departments, and as such he has gained insight as to the intricacies of the government.  His academic qualifications include a BA degree obtained from the University of Guelph, Ontario Canada in 1987.  He obtained a LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London in 2002 and completed his PCLL from the University of Hong Kong in 2003.  Although his work covers a wide spectrum of the legal field, his special focus is on criminal law, and in the more complicated areas such as money laundering, conspiracies, SFC offences and corporate criminal liabilities.  He is also a part time lecturer of the HKU PCLL.
