Kate Olley is a barrister at Parkside Chambers, specialising in planning and property law and all aspects of constitutional and administrative law, as well as general civil and commercial law. She qualified in London in 1999 and until joining Parkside Chambers this year practised at Landmark Chambers, the leading planning and public law Chambers in the UK. She has conducted many cases in the High Court and Court of Appeal and has also appeared on her own in the English Supreme Court. She is also a practising mediator.
Kate has been highly recommended since 2005 in the Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 directories, for example in the latest edition of the Legal 500: "She can win very difficult and complex cases with her brilliant advocacy".
Kate graduated from Oxford University with First Class Honours in Chinese Studies before completing her legal training in London.
