Christopher Jacobs is a barrister at Landmark Chambers in London. He was called to the Bar in 1994 and practices in the fields of planning law, property law and public law. Christopher is a judicial review specialist and has acted as leading counsel on over 10 occasions in the Court of Appeal, most recently winning an important case which concerned whether the principle in HJ (Iran) applies in cases where a fear of persecution arises from imputed political opinion MSM (Somalia) v SSHD [2016] EWCA Civ 715. Christopher frequently appears in the Administrative Court and Upper Tribunal and has acted as junior counsel in the House of Lords and Supreme Court on eight occasions.
