The Premier CLE and Legal CPD Course Provider

Don't get left behind.  Wherever you work, keep learning with help from Profectional®.  We offer local legal professionals the largest range of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses for lawyers and solicitors approved by the Law Society of Hong Kong (HK Law Soc) in the city.  All solicitors are required to accumulate 15 points through law courses of their choice in a practice year, while trainee solicitors have a legal CPD requirement of 30 points by the end of their training contract on a pro-rata basis.

For visiting US attorneys, we are one of Hong Kong's only providers for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses recognised by the New York and California Bar.  Those admitted to the New York Bar for longer than two years must fulfil 24 accredited CLE hours in each biennial reporting cycle while lawyers from the California Bar must commit to 25 hours of approved Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) credit every three years.

Continuing Professional Development Courses for Solicitors in Hong Kong

Profectional® has been a provider of HK Law Soc Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses for lawyers in Hong Kong for years.  We are pleased our HK Law Soc accredited CPD law courses will count towards your annual requirement.  However, we're confident that our courses will do more than fulfilling your legal CPD requirements - they will expand your expertise and renew your passion for your specialisation.

In addition, our CPD seminars in mediation are also approved for Accredited Mediators by the Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited (HKMAAL), Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) and Hong Kong Mediation Centre (HKMC).  Attendees from these courses will be entitled to claim CPD points from all institutions (including HK Law Soc) at the same time, click here to learn more.

Providing Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Courses for Foreign Lawyers

Be aware that the law courses offered by The Profectional Company are accredited by the Law Society of Hong Kong, based on the New York's and California's Approved Jurisdiction policy.  Therefore, our courses should satisfy both New York and Californian CLE requirements and foreign lawyers may be able to fulfil their obligations by attending our courses.  However, while every step has been taken to align our CLE courses with the requirements of the New York and California State Bars, Profectional® does not warrant or guarantee that we are an authorised CLE provider by the New York Bar or an approved MCLE provider by the California Bar.  An attorney must use his or her own discretion to determine whether the course is appropriate for the CLE program.
